The Klara story began four years ago when founders Romain and Nazim met at work. Together, they quickly identified a universal issue: the lack of recognition for employees' real-world workplace experiences.
Initially known as Mooveo, the company launched from Pépinière, a Paris-based incubator, with a vision to design and deliver an innovative solution for employee development—paving the way for a radical transformation in the field.
After two years in business, Klara shifted up a gear by relocating to Station F, the world’s largest startup incubator. In the same year, the company secured €1.2 million in funding from Side Capital and rebranded as Klara, reflecting its future-forward vision.
This rebrand marked the beginning of a new chapter for Klara. The team doubled in size in less than a year, accelerating the digital transformation of the employee experience while remaining agile in an ever-changing market.
Today, Klara works alongside some of France’s largest corporations, including Carrefour, Safran, CDC, BPRI, and Arkema—clients who are not only satisfied but enthusiastic advocates. This year also saw a pivotal moment with a second round of funding, raising €4.5 million to further fuel Klara’s growth. Co-founded by Romain and Nazim, Klara is driven by a singular ambition: to revolutionise the Learning & Development sector.
